Pimento Berry Essential oil is also known as Allspice Essential oil. It is steam distilled from the fully grown, but unripe, dried, crushed berries of the Pimenta officinalis tree and belongs to the Myrtaceae family.

It has a warm, spicy, and pungent aroma similar to several spices combined - namely cinnamon, clove, ginger, nutmeg, and black pepper - hence why it is commonly known as ‘Allspice'.

Pimento berry essential oil has a lovely warming effect on the body and produces a lovely, gradual, warming sensation that is soothing for aches, pains, and tension.

It is commonly used in fragrancing men's toiletries, making incense sticks, and other cosmetic products.

Pain Relief: Pimento Berry essential oil also has a warming effect on the muscles and joints and can help relieve the pain and tension associated with muscular cramps, spasms, arthritis, and rheumatism.

Stress Relief: Pimento Berry essential oil has a warming effect on our emotions and thus is helpful for stress-related disorders, depression, nervous tension, and exhaustion.

Anti-aging: It contains a range of components like vitamin A, vitamin C, eugenol, quercetin, and tannins, making it a powerful antioxidant. These antioxidants help get rid of free radicals which cause aging problems.

Improves circulation: Massaging an area with Pimento berry essential oil creates a warming effect and increases the blood flow and circulation in that area. This, in turn, helps relieve swelling, aches, and pain.

Prevents skin damage: The antioxidants present in this oil are great for stopping skin damage. The presence of natural Vitamin C serves to neutralize unwanted free radicals. It also keeps the skin looking vibrant and youthful.

Kills acne-causing bacteria: It has both antibacterial and antimicrobial properties that can help rid your face of the unwanted organisms that lead to acne.
