Description: Galbanum is a small plant, and the oil is distilled from the resin in the stems and roots. It is indigenous to Iran but now is grown in Northern India as well as Afghanistan. It has thin consistency and has an intensely fresh, green leafy aroma with a dry, bark like back note

Galbanum Essential Oil is widely known for its anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and nervine properties. Galbanum resin has been widely used as incense and in perfumery since ancient times.

Common Uses:

Rejuvenates skin: Galbanum essential oil has detoxifying and rejuvenating effect on the skin. It is also beneficial for skin inflammation, scar tissue, acne, cuts and mature skin.

Antiaging: Galbanum essential oil revitalizes aging skin and provides it a younger as well as toned look. It pulls sagging skin, frees it from wrinkles and provides a natural lift. It also helps reduce stretch marks which usually appear after child birth, liposuction or after weight loss regime.

Keeps insects away: It can also be used as an insecticide to keep away mosquitoes and as an anti-parasitic to help keep away human and pet parasites such as head lice, fleas and bed bugs.

Relaxes mind: The fresh, earthy and woody aroma of Galbanum oil soothes mind and soul. It can also be used to treat stress, shock, trauma and depression.

Reduces Muscle pain: Galbanum oil stimulates blood circulation in body and therefore can be beneficial for arthritis, rheumatism, joint and muscle pain and muscle spasm.

Caution: Avoid during pregnancy and with sensitive skin. It can cause possible sensitization in some individuals, so use in very low concentration only. It is important to note that all Essential Oils are extremely concentrated in nature and if to be applied on the skin or body, should always be diluted upto a maximum dosage of 4% in a suitable carrier oil.
