Cardamom oil is extracted by steam distillation of the seeds of Elettedria Cardamomum. It has sweet-spicy aroma with woody undertone blends well with other spice oils, citrus oils, wood oils and many more. The oils also boasts fruits and balsamic middle notes. The cardamom plant is native to India and Central America.
Emotionally the aroma of this oil is energizing and uplifting and might help with stress, fatigue, depression and/or despair.
Body: The antibacterial and disinfectant properties of this oils makes it an excellent ingredient in products aimed at protecting oral health. It also helps eliminate bad breadth.
The warming effect of this oil helps to boost immune health and fight off cold and flu. The warmth helps to relieve chest congestion while antibacterial properties of this oil helps to fight off the invaders that cause cold. You can diffuse 3-4 drops of this oil during cold and flu season to boost immune health. Also you can mix 2 drops of eucalyptus oil, 2 drops Peppermint oil, 2 drops blackpepper oil and 2 drops of cardamom oil in 20ml of jojoba oil and rub gently on the bottom of feet or on chest to relieve congestion and reduce cough.
It also stimulates digestion by regulating healthy digestive health. The carminative properties of this oil helps to reduce the incidence of gas, bloating, and indigestion. You can diffuse 2-3 drops in diffuser or mix few drops in carrier oil and dab on your wrists or behind ears.

Caution: Avoid during pregnancy and with sensitive skin. It can cause possible sensitization in some individuals, so use in very low concentration only. It is important to note that all Essential Oils are extremely concentrated in nature and if to be applied on the skin or body, should always be diluted upto a maximum dosage of 4% in a suitable carrier oil.
